My male cat has a crush on me

Ok this is odd. He has been following me everywhere lately. Also been following me from room to room. When i sit on the couch he sits on the arm of the couch and i sit close to him. I turn to look at him and he kisses and licks me and nudges me. I get up he is there. He constantly has been rubbing against me. I know that means its a territorial thing when they rub their scent on you. It almost makes my husband jealous......Almost

I have 2 who literally fight over me. It gets nasty sometimes, which worries me.

Peanut does that to me, too... but I have a suspicion that it's because I feed him.

Geronimo & Samurai follow me around constantly, and have gotten to the point where they're "fighting" over me. Sometimes it gets pretty nasty. I'm not surprised that Geronimo is protecting what he thinks is his "property" cuz he's always been a mama's boy, but it shocked the heck out of me when Samurai started going after Geronimo to fight for my attention.

It's not unusual for cats to be that way. They're just showing you how much they love you.

Aww how sweet, Chacho does that to me. Matt gets jealous. He wants kitty love too! Its not as weird as a cat having a crush on a dog! My parents' cat Ghibli is in love with their 96lb dog. The dog, Diesel, pretty much raised Ghibli and in turn Ghibli has imprinted on Diesel. Ghibli's love for the dog has showed its self in really odd and sometime disgusting ways. I think the worse was when my parents woke up to Ghibli trying to nurse on the dog's....uh...butthole. That was really gross. Now, due to an incident when while playing, Ghibli crossed the line by biting the dog's ear, now Diesel wants nothing to do with Ghibli, much to the cat's distress.

I told my husband when your mean I will leave you for tiger... Tiger is just sweet he laid with me when I wasn't feeling good yesterday.

Sounds like Audrey, she is a head bunting nuzzling licker that needs my hands on her at all times. Which is nice but can get to be a pain in the butt. And if I get up she gets talkative like "Meow (where ya going) Meow (Can I come?)"

My mom has the same relationship with her dog, my brother calls her my mom's second shaddow. Sounds like your cat has formed a firm attachment to you. Just watch you dont step on your kitty.
