Tiger head butts me to get up he did it this morning

Snowy Meows loud and bangs paws on the door.

Cats have their ways of getting your attention...

HAHA! Toward the end of her life, Tigger didn't sleep very much, and consequently neither did I! She would just kinda "murr, murr" and walk around my head until I would get up...usually at about 4 in the morning! LOL. Fortunately I could sometimes work from say, 4 to 8, then get a nap in.

At this point, out of the 4 cats, none of them wants to wake me up in the mornings anymore, except Clyde seems to have a love affair going on with my blanket and whenever he wakes up he has to...um...love it! BAHAHAHA. I'll just let you use your imagination on that one!

A cat in love with the blanket lol...Now that one I can guess. Does he think it's a cat or another furry animal? That is too funny...

Flambe is the only bad one we have. He gets on the bed (always being careful to jump ON me, not on the bed!), then walks around my upper body, purring loudly, placing his cold nose on my arms, and tickling me with his whiskers.

I do believe he thinks it's a cat....a....female cat..

Chacho seems to enjoy waking us up by sticking his nose in our ears and snorting/purring loudly.

Abby comes up and lays beside me demanding chest and neck rubs.

Spencer and Katie walk all over me and flop down and do summer saults on top of me. And when that doesn't work, they turn off my CPAP machine which is guaranteed to wake me up because I end up suffocating

These are hilarious! Ginga wakes me up every morning at 6:30 except weekends, she lets me sleep in until seven, still very early! She opens my door and jumps on me, she gives my shoulder a head bunt, that normally wakes me up (she does it very hard), she sees that I'm awake, gives me a head bump and then runs out. I slowly get out of bed, pick her up and she starts purring, then I run to get her breakfast.

PRESLEY!!!!!!!!!!!! That is who wakes me up. Real early too. He lays across my face and neck and will even make a sweet little mew to get me going. He has also learned to walk on top of the alarm clock and if he steps on it just right, the time changes to much earlier. This morning Larry's alarm went off and he got up and and did his regular morning routine before the train. he went downstairs and saw it was only 4:30 a.m.!!!!!!!!!!!! It should have been about 5:45 a.m. (so he thought).

Nero is my alarm clock. He usually starts headbutting my face, and if I roll onto my back, he climbs on my chest and headbutts my chin. This morning, he snot-rocketed all over my face

*sigh* Lulu wakes me up every morning by going to the litterbox in my bathroom. Since she has loose stool and tends to step in it at night you can bet on it that I'm wide awake with the first "scratch".

Let's just say I've been running on fumes lately

Trout walks around the room and meows.

That is Hoshi, too. I think he's gone all the way to "done" with the blanket before

The second I wake up, Bowser comes running into the room screaming at me. He then jumps up on the bed, starts purring, and headbutts me until I pay attention to him. Then we spoon and he gets a 10 minute belly rub before I can do anything else :P

Luna: licks my face, eats my hair, licks my hands, purrrrrrs, licks some more until I get up (very cute but annoying if too early ).

Utu: If he's in another room ,he scratches the doors. If he's in bedroom, he'll knead me and walk on me (his quite heavy..), I can't get up until he's finished.

Kuura: Doesn't matter if he's in the room or not, he meows until I wake.

Tomu: Knocks something over, drops something, falls from somewhere and makes a huge crash sound..

Lynxx used to knock things down in my room if he need food, or needed his litter box cleaned in the middle of the night. That used to drive me nuts

Luna used to bite whatever part of me wasn't covered when she was a kitten. Also back then if she didn't feel like biting me, she'd punch my face with her paws Now she knocks my books off the book shelf.

Midnight used to meow to let me know he needed to use the litter box when he was a kitten. I don't know why since he didn't need my help getting to the box Now he'll jump on top of me, to wake me.

CC has Lisa trained well. She comes in for a few pets maybe a love bite. Then
she stands on the headboard and hooks her tail around the curtain and pulls it so that the sun is on Lisa's head! Then she pokes and prods at Lisa until she gets up.Once everyone is up,CC gets in her bed and goes back to sleep!

...but this one takes the cake!

Lazlo just walks up and MEOWS right in my ear. Because he needs to eat, I keep a baggie of kibble under the pillow. I barely wake up now, but grab some out, and plop it on one of the cat beds so he can eat it. I've definitely woken up on a piece (or two) of kibble.

Shelly paws at my hair. This is recent. I'm SURE he learned it from Flowerbelle.

Flowerbelle paws at my hair. If that doesn't wake me, she digs and and PULLS. I have little scabs all over my head (not keeping her claws as trimmed as I should!). She will also grab a mouthful of hair and yank! OR she starts pushing her head under my neck, like she's trying to tunnel under me. It's really cute and sweet, and definitely the nicest of her methods to wake me up.

Billy just flops on my face. He's a big boy.

As does Topaz followed by loud purring and tromping all over my bed.

When Topaz can't get me up, Ari takes over and does something similar.

I have also been awakened by noxious fumes coming from the litter box.

Maia has several methods of attempting to wake me up with one goal, food! Even if I get up to use the bathroom, it is 'Don't forget to feed me on the way back to bed!'
If I don't get up at the crack of kitty dawn, she has several sometimes effective, extremely annoying methods of waking me. There is the pawing at the edge of the garbage bag liner in the kitchen, the chewing and ripping of paper anywhere in the area. Then there is always the whiskers in the face, 'Hello, how are you?!' at any move I make after 4am!

Mine dont wake me up. Normally the devils are in bed with us still sleeping snuggled in the middle of DF and me. Herc is passed out on the couch most mornings and Gigi hears the alarm and runs to the bathroom right away and talks to me when I get up to pee.

Tippy waits outside the bedroom door and "screams". She has some siamese in her so I think most of you know what that sounds like. She has quite a pair of lungs. Tony just pounds on the bedroom door with his paws (he's a good size - 14 or 15 lb. cat). Angel is pretty good and just waits patiently until we open the door. We don't let all 3 sleep with us all night - usually just Angel or Tippy. And when Tippy wants "out" she yowls at the door until we open it for her.

Audrey seems to coo and then licks my nose.... it's very effective I tell ya. Jasper on the other hand when we didn't lock him in the bathroom at night seemed to think it was acceptable to knock over a marble lamp on my head. That is one of the main reasons his 'bedroom' is now in the bathroom. I have scars from Jasper's botched wake up experiments.

Jamie has found the most effective way of getting me up is to force a paw into my mouth. Yuck!
Nora is the only one that sleeps with us at night, the boys just make too much racket and keep us up. When Nora is ready to leave the room, she goes over to the door, puts her paw under it and grabs it, and jiggles it back and forth. It's her way of knocking on the door to say she wants out. LOL! Every once in a while she will gently pat our faces with her paw to wake us up (she sleeps between our pillows).

Silly Jamie!

Riley occasionally paws at my hair, but his general method of waking me up is to knock everything off of ... well ... everything

First he climbs onto the dresser, knocks off my watch, my computer mouse, whatever clothes I might have laying on there.
Then he gets onto my nightstand, knocks the alarm clock off, then leans into the fan and knocks it off too. I of course, am woken up, put them back on the nightstand and then we repeat this little game until I'm irritated enough to actually get out of bed and feed him.

Xander doesn't try to wake me up, he just goes to sleep next to me

So I'm one of the only ones whose cat bites them, sometimes HARD to wake them up? Wessie also knocks things off of my shelf and just keeps going all around the room until I wake up...
