Cat not covering.. advice?

Hi all,

I came home from work yesterday and realized my bedroom reeks of urine. After making sure it isn't outside the litter box anywhere in the room, I took the lid off the litter box and saw two clumps of urine, not covered. Sometimes I find the feces not covered, or partially covered.

Now I'll have to check after them to make sure the waste is covered. I am sure its my 6 month old Picasso as Monet's always been a deep digger.

Does any one have suggestions on how to make sure the cats cover?

No I do not have any suggestions sorry . But I want to point out I live with an F3 Savannah who NEVER covers his urine or feces. While I do not have a covered boxes, the boxes he tends to use smell no worse then any box the pure domestics use who cover there waist.

So I would really make sure no one is having litter box avoidance issues.

But I will say if Panda my DLH goes to a litter box Loki the Savannah has used she does cover it for him. The same goes for old Momma cat. Now Shadow has stopped covering her urination and dedication when she uses a litter box (she is indoor/outdoor like Momma cat) since Loki came along .

I thought there might be a chance she won't cover, lol. I have two boxes.. one's covered (in the bedroom) and one's not covered (in a closet), and they go in both. She failed to cover in both boxes.
