I don't know if I ever told you, but in those first few minutes of panic when we got Wendel's FIV+ diagnosis all I could think of was Chumley's big smile in your signature. I recited the first few lines from your siggy to Mike then ran down to the computer to look up your threads on FIV.

Chumley is going to be so
very happy to hear he may have helped another kitty!

The oddest thing about Chumley is that outside he was SO incredibly aggressive to the ferals here. Poor guy must have been so scared and hungry. I understand now it was a defensive thing. But at first we were so worried about introducing him.
But he IS just the sweetest, most gentle kitty. It constantly amazes me how... graceful he is, too. It's all wrapped up in the funniest, chunky monkey package!

THE absolute funniest thing is watching him chase his tail like a kitten. He looks like he has a big frame - but he's not that big. He's very boxy with short legs. Lazlo and Shel are like giants standing next to him.

So he looks big and boxy, and has this GIANT tom cat head... and then there he is, acting like a little kitty.

He is just sooooooo happy to be inside, with food, and safe.

And boy, his purr motor is REALLY going now! He is the most delightful boy, with such a big rumbly purr.
