Anyone have anything fun and exciting planned for this weekend?

I have a final exam in my algebra class first thing Monday morning. So I will spend my weekend studying.

There's no place like home
We've already planned a weekend with the cats. My kittens just got out of their 30 day quarantine, my oldest is going to the vet on Saturday for a checkup and we are most likely bringing home the little tuxedo girl that our vet found in their parking lot.

We will most likely be lying on the couch and/or the recliners, drink and TV remote nearby, and all the cats laying in piles on top of us. Cat naps on and off for the entire household all weekend.

Not a bad weekend if you ask me!

I'm leaving tomorrow for 3 days in Las Vegas! I'm excited, and nervous too. I don't like flying all that much, and my stomach is in knots.

See you all next Tuesday!

Not doing anything overly exciting (that I'm aware of anyway).
I have to search for a wasp's nest in my garage for the exterminator who will be coming next week. . . . my son is allergic and I'm bee-phobic. . .

One reason why I look forward to winter!

There's a country fair in a nearby town. . . . but my 15 year old son is "too old for fairs". There's also a big annual League of NH Craft Fair in another nearby town. . . . which I really would like to attend and just might.

Not a darn thing! Since I don't have a car. Probably more cleaning. Oh yeah... and I'm working on another scrap book for another co worker who is leaving. Almost forgot about that!

You've got a reservist or a national guardsmen? WooHoo! Please extend to him my appreciation and thanks for standing tall in boots!

I spent 20 years and 3 days in the National Guard. I truly appreciate his sacrifice!

I leave for my vacation tomorrow and I will be back August 25th. I'll be driving to Grand Rapids, MI tomorrow to pick up my best friend, Paula and my Godchild, Halley and we will be leaving for Canada. I'm really looking forward to some time off of work and sleeping in! I just hope my fur baby Max will be OK while I'm gone. As I mentioned before, my good friend Robyn is coming again to kitty sit.

We leave later today to set up for our big knife show. Then after we do set up visit with all the other makers and our friends, I am going over to Costco to buy Lisa a basket of food. I know they have to eat, and I know she won't feel like fixing anything. If she isn't home, I will just leave the basket and card at her door. Then tomorrow we will get up bright and early go out to breakfast and hit what I hope will be a lucrative show for us. Dtolle? Speaking of lucrative, good luck in Vegas!

Have fun in Vegas Daniela! Good luck at the show MA!

As for me, I'm still kind of decompressing from being on vacation. I suppose my suitcase should come out of the livingroom this weekend.
I'm also getting caught up on Save Samoa and putting in some much needed time on Stray Pet Advocacy. We've got a target date in mind now, which really helps me focus.

hmmm....helping stain and put together my husband's new computer desk and shelving system from Ikea, updating my cat rescue site with photos of available cats, biz stuff, work on getting the gunk off the glass panels of my "bought at auction but new" cherry buffet and hutch (it had old masking tape in a x shape to protect the panels, and it's being HORRIBLE to get off!), encourage hubbie to do more work on images for our cat rescue cafe press store, try to think of something new to cook...take a drive some place country...

so...stay mainly at home and putter is the final answer <wry grin>

Lets see, I have a pot luck dinner to help organise tomorrow night. Volleyball practice in the morning. Perhaps a nice cup of coffee with my friend Dawn. Hopefully I can squeeze in a session at the gym.
Probably just relax all day sunday, who knows what will come up?

I'm working up the nerve to go get most of my hair chopped off.. Plus I have some shopping to do because I have a couple of interviews coming up and I still need shoes, a shell/shirt, and some other accessories to go with my still unchristened interview suit.. We're leaving for the beach a week from monday so we'll be looking around for some end of summer stuff.. So basically I'm going broke this weekend!!

So far out in left field I got lost
The only thing we have planned is sanding and painting the sheetrock in my kitchen. Ugh! Manual Labor
Oh well it will be worth it to me since I haven't been able to cook in 3 months. This remodleing is taking a lot longer than we anticipated.

Ace your test! I have faith in you
