Hello from the UK!

Hello everyone! I'm new to the forum and I'm hoping some of your lovely members can help me with advice about adopting an adult cat - specifically a Turkish Van (so if someone could let me know what the best section is to post in, that would be great). I live in Manchester, in the UK, and although I don't have a cat at the moment I've lived with a number of furry beasts over the years, the latest being my mum's cats, a big barrel of a tabby called Stanley who never shuts up, and his timid black brother George who is only one step away from working out how to open the kitchen doors.

It would be great to chat to everyone and share tips and pics!

they are gorgeous cats.
