Good news on the ZZ front!

and grew a little more, a cage finally opened up at the shelter. Kitten season is winding down.

So, I took the lovable little ZZ to the shelter this week, and yesterday he got adopted!

That is absolutely wonderful news Mike!!!

Hurray! He certainly is one beautiful cat! Congratulations, ZZ!

It was kind of a funny deal. We went by the shelter just to love on him some, and there was a young couple in the cat meet-and-greet room looking at a little tabby kitten. They really wanted a kitten who would play with their current cat, about 1 year old, but ZZ didn't impress them. I had him out carrying him around and put him down with the kitten they were looking at. Fun and frolics ensued, and they decided ZZ was exactly what they were looking for.

What a heartwarming little story on this somber day of remembrance. Thank you!

We've been lucky. Jeeves, Emily, Sweetness, Light, and now ZZ have all gotten adopted, some against good odds. Even Tiger was taken in by a rescue person and is living in their house, getting the royal treatment.

And, of course, Ella and Flambe are here, still.

That's wonderful! Yay for ZZ!!!!!
