Can't wait for Windows 8! For those not in the know, it has the functionality of Windows 7 that many are already using today, but allegedly with a very strong focus towards touch-interface and far greater performance enhancements than even were seen from the Vista to W7 optimization, particularly in cold-boot time.

Well, Microsoft has released a demo on a HP laptop to show the latter is already a done-deal:

Looks good, especially the start-up time. I don't think I'd use a monitor keyboard, though, except on a smartphone or tablet.

Looks pretty good. We'll see. 7 is pretty good for a change so let's hope 8 is even better.
