Hey group,
Just found this site in my exhausting quest to figure out what to feed my hairy scary monsters.
I have two Siberian kitties, which was extremely lucky! They are an AWESOME breed and coincided nicely with my newfound cat allergy after having American shorthairs all my life.
-Mowzers is about 4 or 5. My husband rescued her from an abusive home overcrowded with too many animals, which apparently ganged up on her. Somehow she came out the biggest sweetheart on earth (and maybe the biggest cat on earth...) At 16 pounds she's a full-figured gal, but super playful and active nonetheless. She's our greeting committee... even cat haters fall in love with her.
-Boots is 11 months old. She was born feral and rescued by a foster home. She looks tough with one tipped ear, but she's a big (really big! 12 pound) baby. She was a huge fraidy-cat for the first few months, but once Mowzers took her under her wing, they were best buddies for life. She's warmed up to us greatly and is now a cuddle maniac. She keeps growing and growing (she's now tall enough to reach a countertop) and when she rounds out, may be bigger than Mowzers. I think my Siberian kitties may be Chernobyl kitties...
