Hey...my cat does the same thing. She drinks a pile of water then she violently vomits it all up...mostly water. I thought it might be the beginning of hairball issues since she's around 16 years old. We haven't taken her to the vet in years (she's an indoor cat); mostly money issues off and on throughout the years have prevented us from bringing her in to the vet regularly. I wonder if hairball med will do the trick. I've also limited the amount of water she has at one time but she always has access to some water. She doesn't seem to always get sick when her water is limited. Also, maybe she's diabetic since she's drinking so much at one time??Originally Posted by B3XSTOL
If anybody can give me any idea of what this could be I would be greatful! When I put a bowl of water out she drinks the whole bowl and then vomits...then she cries until I give her more water; she proceeds to drink the whole bowl again and throws up again. Other than that she seems healthy.
Thanks!
Any ideas?? Thanks.
