so i go to work today as usual, and i get home to find cynder happy and purring to see me. then he goes into the hall way where there is a cat door propped open with some tape as he hasn't quite figured out how to open it yet.. and starts kinda whining and meowing so I'm thinking what is wrong or is he "lost" so I go check and lo and behold the tape has come undone from the cat door and he's trying to figure it out but can't.. I open the closet and wham he's in his litterbox going pee then poop. I felt horrible he had held "it" all day until I got home... I felt like the worst mom in the world, and hope it doesn't have any repercussions on him, like being afraid of going there or thinking he should hold it all day.... Mommy loves you and I'm sooooo sorry...

Haha, poor guy. Oh, well, it happens to all of us sometimes. I accidentally locked Silka in the closet all day on Monday. . .these things happen. At least he was a good boy and held it instead of going somewhere else.

Don't worry my son shut the basement door where their litter box is and Tiger was patient and snowy was the one meowing. As soon as the door was open they dashed down to the basement like a small line of people waiting to go potty

I accidentally shut Holland in a closet overnight once without food, water or litterbox...
I'm sure Cynder will forget all about it in a day or two.
