There's this new vet clinic that's been open for several weeks. I saw on their website that they'll be having a Grand Opening Event soon. What in the heck is a Grand Opening? I understand when a shopping store has one because they have big sales and stuff. But what does a vet clinic do at a Grand Opening? I'd call and ask them, but I'm still a little bit ticked off with the owner (long story) and don't feel like talking to anyone from there right now. I'm just trying to figure out what the grand opening is so I can figure out if I want to contact the owner now or later to work out our problem (long story).

I found the text in this book spot on, but the illustrations aren't helpful at all. Good over all book

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

2 were done by me few years ago-one vet clinic moved and the other was brand new. Both were open houses (see the surgery area/see the various features)/meet and greet the staff. I didnt attend just remember reading the before after blurbs on website. One hosted a local rescue and the other showed thier adoptable cats.

They may offer specials, tours of the facility, coupons, discounts, etc. I've never been to a vets office open house but my guess would be that

. At least that's what all the non-retail places I know of do for their grand openings. Tours, meet the staff, anything to raise awareness of their existence and get people in to possibly become new customers.

So, since I already know the owner (been my pets' vet for years at another clinic) is there any benefit in me going to the grand opening? I figure that maybe I could get a tour at a later point in time. The only thing I would be interested in is any discounts that might be offered at the event.
