My silly 9-week old kitty is doing pretty much everything on her own, but she won't give up her bottle. She will jump in my lap and MEW, MEW..she wants her bottle and then she will run over to her bed and go to sleep. This is a habit I started with her when we found her at 3 weeks. LOL...now of course, I am MOMMY and she still likes her cuddle time. The problem is...she has chewed every nipple down to the nub. One small piece is missing after this mornings escapades. I usually can grab them or she spits the little pieces out.
If she did swallow it, it would only be a couple centimeters big. Do you think that would hurt her-or should she pass it ok?

SIGH...maybe it's time to give up her bottles. lol

My guess is it will pass on. Although, if you do have a vet handy, contact her, instead of relying on my guesses.

She may prescribe (and give) some liquid paraffine or similiar.

Good luck!

at 9 weeks old I would be doing away with the bottles for safety issues, yes they probably will pass without any issues but I wouldn't want to take that chance.....if she is reluctant to give up her bottles, maybe just give her water bottles, it will be much less appealing than formula is and I imagine that within 2-3 days she says "screw this" lol and stops asking. Or put the KMR in a dish so she can still have it but from a dish....yep your baby is growing up momma!! you did good!
