So there are these people on my street, and they constantly get new cats. Guess what happens when they've gotten too many? They abandon the less recent ones! Now these aren't just cats, they're mainly pedigrees! So they can't survive alone, being small mouthed Persians, and short furred Siameses.
A few hours ago, I was walking to a restaurant with my mom, and an not-too-responsive cat strided right in front of a moving car. I stopped the car, and grabbed her. Yes, she looked skinny, but I was expecting something a bit heavier! It was like picking up a skeleton. Every bone sticking out. The skin hanging loose. She yowled, but I took her home anyway, wanting to feed her ASAP! I got home, and she smelled the food with interest, but took a mouth-full of it, and spat it out! We tried many things. Dry cat food, Wet cat food, Sardines, Treats, and just water.
I know a lot about cats, but even if this is a simple case, I can't find a reason. She has perked up since then, and is now warm. Still no eating though. I have two other cats and one pigeon.

Go to a pet store, buy a syringe for feeding, blend up either dry (with water) or wet in in blender and force feed her around 5oz per day. And get her into a vet asap. That's all the advice I've got; good luck!!!

To the vet now! And report those people to the authorities. They need to be charged with neglect, abuse, and not be allowed to have any more pets. Whether the animals are pedigree or not, these people don't care about animals.

See if she will take kitten formula. And get her to the vet quickly, she may need fluids to get her eating again. And she may have worms that are contributing to her problems as well.

Good luck with her, im sending vibes that she isn't too far gone.

I don't know where you're located, but I agree - she MUST be syringe fed until you can get her to a vet. Skinny cats that don't want to eat have a high likelihood of suffering from hepadic lipidosis (fatty liver disease). This means that her lack of eating means that her body has been eating itself, and this damages the liver. IF it hasn't progressed too far, the ONLY thing that can "fix" it is being force-fed, because she has no drive to eat on her own.

She is likely dehydrated and needs sub-cutaneous fluids.

Kitty formula is a great idea for starters, though any cat food at this point is what she needs.

Even kitten glop: http://www.kitten-rescue.com/what_to_feed.html

30ml is 1 ounce. She should be fed about 1 ounce per feeding, if such frequent feedings are possible, and about 1ml is what should be put into her mouth at a time. (Most larger syringes, meant for cats, not kittens, come in either 10ml or 15ml sizes. If you get 10ml syringes, she'd need three in order to get an ounce of food into her. If you get 15ml, she'd need two to get an ounce in her). Obviously, take it slowly, especially at first. If she fights, you may have to wrap her up.

Many vibes for this baby! And
to you for rescuing her.

I also recommend reporting these people. If you're in the U.S., the ASPCA is the appropriate agency in many areas.

Seconding what the others said, I want to add.

If you can get goat milk, it is excellent in such cases. (useful for kittens too as a kmr).

Tx for caring!

Good luck!
