Never underestimate a cat's natural instinct. My cat could not stop sitting near the the dishwasher and oven for almost a month. We thought it was just being stubborn like a typical cat. It wasn't. It turns out the cat was stalking a mouse all this time. We never had that problem, or noticed them, but maybe the cat showed us we did have that problem. Anyway, she ended up grabbing it, but let it go. Now we have to look for the mouse. I've never seen a cat so pleased it caught something for it's master before. I can tell it feels like it did something good. Good kitty.
