Rescued a tiny kitten, so small :(

Hello everyone:

Today was a very sad day for me because I went to my uncle's house and as soon as i got there I heard a kitten crying. I asked my uncle about it and he told me that there was a kitten in the yard, he was there for two or three days crying because his mommy cat died. My uncle says a dog killed her. And well, my uncle just gave the kitten some milk and that was it, hello!!! The kitten is a tiny baby that can't eat by himself, he can walk and his eyes are opened, he looks like he is 3 weeks old.

he is sooo cute!!!! For a baby that hasn't eaten he seemed in good shape, vey alert and active. He also likes people, whe I talked to him he came walking towards me and tried to suckle from my hands, it broke my heart.

I couldn't leave him there so I took him home. he is the cutest thing in the world, I'm giving him formula and I have him in a carrier. very warm and comfy with a soft toy, he is asleep and very quiet right now, but as soon as I enter the room he sees me and starts crying.

I'm sad because he needs his mamma so much But I thank GOd because I found him, I wasn't going to my uncle's house, but then I decided to go and found this baby. I will have to find him a good home because I can't keep him.

I will post pics soon.

It is a big, harsh, cruel world for something as small as a kitten, but you have made the world a little better. I hope you manage to save the wee thing.

I just don't understand why my uncle didn't call me before. I would have gone to pick him up. I hope I can save him, he looks healthy and pretty good. And he is drinking his formula from the bottle. He doesn't drink a lot, I guess he is not used to it yet. I'm feeding him every two hours.

I recued Lucas when he was like 4 or 5 weeks old and he did well, so I hope the same happnes to this little one. I love him already

It is just so sad to me that he can't be with his mommy, just so sad

Oh Tammy! It's one of those REALLY mixed feelings things, isn't it? Anger at the world for such things, wondering why your Uncle didn't call or do more... and yet having such a little bundle of sweetness....

the baby will thrive under your care, and your kitties will enjoy mothering him/her until you can find him/her a home, and you can find him/her a home!

Thank you Laurie, yes, I have mixed feelings. I'm happy because I LOVE kittens and taking care of him is a pleasure for me. I love it, but I'm also so sad because of his mommy and because I have to give him up later on. I hate that, but there is no way I can keep him, I can't afford another kitty.

I wish my other kitties could mother him, but I can't risk it, I'm too scared of Leukemia and other infections, so he won't be near my kitties for now. I will take him to the vet this week.

And my kitties hate kittens, they are scared of them and tend to attacked them. All my 4 cats are that way, go figure!

I have to admit I'm mad and angry at my uncle, he is not an animal lover, but he should have help the poor baby! he was screaming in the sun and no one cared

he is black and soooo cute and sweetttt!! I just adore him. I think the kitten is a he, but I'm not 100% sure, he is too small and sometimes I can't tell.

Thank you all I made a couple of videos of him, but they didn't turn out so great. I was going to take some pics now, but I just fed him and he is sleeping so peacefully that I don't want to bother him now. I will take pics when he wakes up

HUGS!

I totally understand about bringing a cat/kitten into your home, all 5 of mine are the same way. Sometimes, I dont think they know they are cats, too.
