Hi,

I am posting on behalf of a Birman boy (pedigreed) who is currently living at my neighbor's. He had his "forever" home for 3 years and lived quietly as an only cat with an older couple. His meowmy was in a wheelchair, so he spent his days riding along on her lap, getting constant love and attention.

His meowmy died suddenly in May. In June, the widower decided to remarry and the new wife did not want the cat.
Birman boy came back to the home where he was born, but he isn't used to all the activity and all the other cats, and misses his home, and mostly his soft, warm meowmy.

I've "test driven" this cat and he is a dear. In fact, I posted his photo when he was just a few hours old as he was born when I was petsitting. He loves to be cuddled and hugged, yet is still is playful and kittenish. He is gorgeous, with a full mane. I believe he is a chocolate point Birman.

If you know ANYONE who could give this boy a home, please let me know. I don't think he necessarily needs to be an "only" cat, but does need a home that is a little less hectic....and has more available "lap time." He can be shipped anywhere--that is no problem.

I can get a photo if you or anyone you know is interested. It breaks my heart every time I see him, as he is grieving, yet very open to any affection.

Thanks for reading.
