My baby bunny thread

Hi all.
I want to do a thread on my unexpected baby bunnies.I already have 3 bunnies and my pure rex passed away a few months ago and I have always wanted another one.I went to my local petshop for bunny food about 3 weeks ago and he had some free bunnies,I looked and they were pure rex,I just had to have one so I brought home Jessica. It didn't click really that they were all mixed males and females until last saturday when I went to feed them and in the downstairs house I found that Jessica had given birth to 8 babies, wow they are so cute and I would love to do this thread on their progress and show you all just how cute they are, some of the pics here may be a little blurry, they are very small but they do some flippin jumping around and its like holding frog bless them.Their eyes aren't open yet and they have just got some fur.

Here's mum Jessica

Here are the babies at one day old

These were taken today, they are 7 days old now

No its really the last thing I wanted but I didn't realise at all she was pregnant at all,she showed no signs.I have all girls and one male (who is nuetered and is as soft as grease) I will be keeping one as hubby is making me a new walk in rabbit enclosure which will be great but I am so worried about rehoming the others,I need to make sure that they go to good homes only and strictly as pets. There are too many unwanted bunnies as it is and I think the pet shop was incredibly stupid to put them all together but I think they probably do it on purpose so that you take the babies back to him for him to sell.I don't think so I hate seeing them all in the cages so I'll probably try all my friends first,I'm just going to enjoy watching these little beauties grow up.x

OMG! I love bunnies! I have to admit that I've never seen new born bunnies before! They're so small and all head!

I can't believe how much they grew in 13 days! The word cute doesn't even begin to describe them!!!

I think the silver grey one looks like a squirrel lol they should be out of the nest next week and starting to eat solids,my babies are growing up I need to get another litter tray for them and when they are old enough to be sexed I will have to get collars pink and blue so I can identify them as there seems to be pairs of each colour, that might change yet though. Can't wait till they are running are around so I can take pics of them all together.x
