Since neighborhood cat Mister's been hanging in the yard today, I thought I'd take some pics of him to share. Genever's been meowing and meowing to go out, but I told her no, she's too young to hang out with boys.

Mister chilling under the apple tree:

And under the bench:

I wanted to take a pic of him sitting pretty, but he wanted to come at me for pets instead (and he even likes belly rubs!!
):

A weird angle of him lying down and turning his head to say hi (he's forever talking to me):

No, I don't know whose cat he is, but we're pretty sure he's someone's because he very rarely eats any food I offer him, and I don't see him at night, so I think he goes home at night and for food, wherever that may be. I wrote about him a while back. He's such a sweetie.

Haha, at least your lemon tree is still alive!! I keep trying to start one from seed, I've got seeds to sprout (or sometimes they're already sprouted inside the lemon when I cut one), but then they die. Not like I need another lemon tree, but it's the challenge that makes me keep trying!

You should put a collar with a note attached to it one day and see where he goes. We had a cat growing up tjat would disappear during the coldest days of the year and always worried us to death. Turns out, she was spending the winter days curled up next to the fireplace at the house down the street.

I did that once with a paper collar that someone posted a link to a while back, but I never got a call. However, I don't know if the collar was even still on by the time he got home, could've gotten scratched off or caught in a tree or bushes or something.
Over the months we've thought of lots of things to do or not do with him, and in the end we decided it's best to just stay neighbor friends. Don't get me wrong, I worry about him all the time, especially if I don't see him for a week or 2, but this is the way it's gotta be. It's so cute though, if I see him in the yard, I'll open to door to go out and say hi, and he just runs to me, meowing. Any other cat outside that would run at me would scare the crap out of me, but I know Mister just wants to get some love.

He is a beauty!!!!! He also does look well cared for and well fed - that must rest easy on your mind. I know how worried you were.

And now he's got 3 girlfriends to court!
(That includes you.
).

He's really a pretty cat. I love his face. I hope he does have a nice home to go to.

Well I still worry about him, but that's the way it's gotta be. (I do wish he had a collar or chip though) But I enjoy when he visits and runs over meowing and flops over for belly rubs.
