Trying to trap my feral kittens....

Well, I did everything like when I trapped mom and dad a few months ago... and right off Pocus went into a trap... his brother Hocus, however, is more leery. Even the scent of sardines isn't getting him inside. I sure hope I catch him and not mom or dad again... they are supposed to be neutered in the morning.

COME ON, Hocus, into the trap!! Good luck. Might be too late too suggest KFC chicken.. but that seems to work for me everytime, they just can't resist it ...

yeah, I believe KFC is closed by now... I tried sardines, turkey lunch meat (he usually loves this)... tuna... canned cat food. He just gets spooked before he far enough back to trigger the release.

Do you think he'd go into a carrier to eat? If so, you can tie a rope to the door and pull it shut when he goes in. Or rig something with the trap so that you can trigger it from a distance once he goes in, even if he doesn't go as far as the trip plate.

I got lucky, sometime during the night while I was sleeping, he got in the cage... so both boys are ready to go this morning.
