Cat weight

My male is about 10 lbs and my female is like 13.8 lbs she did loose some weight but Why is the male smaller than the female? They are both short haired cats. I always thought the male was suppose to be bigger. Does it depend on the bread or could she be mixed with something else or is snowy just fat?

Cats just come in all shapes and sizes. Your boy could be on the petite side, and Snowy could be big-boned. Your vet can tell you if either of them is under- or over-weight. Holland weighed 9 pounds at her last vet visit back in February, which is on the heavy side for her. I think she lost a little after that (about 8 pounds is her ideal weight) but the way she's been hoovering food lately, I have to be careful not to overfeed her...

We really can't tell unless you show recent photos, but your vet will be able to tell you for sure. Just make sure to ask.
