Eek...Nervous!!

So this coming Tuesday is my birthday and also Labor Day weekend. About two weeks ago we found out that we are going to go to Rehobeth Beach from Sunday till Tuesday. Im SUPER EXCITED. Like bouncing off the walls woo woo loopy doopy excited. This is our first 'vacation' in almost 4 years. The downside.......

This is my first time EVER leaving the kids with a babysitter. The kitties will be at home obviously but the neighbor and her daughter are going to come up and play with them and check on them while we are gone and also feeding the outside munsters twice a day. Franklin is going to Grams house for his first over night sleepover and Im freaking the heck out!!!!!!

Im such a nervous Mom. LOL Could I be any weirder that I literally feel elated one moment to be going away but freaking out with nerves because this is the first time I will ever be leaving them and Im so neurotic that they are all neurotic. Im worried about the kitties freaking out that Mom and Dad arent gonna be home for two nights and no snuggle time. Im worried about Gram not being able to 'talk' to Franklin like we can. Like how will she know when one whine means I gotta tinkle or its the whine that says "I lost my toy under the couch I need you to get it please".


Im so weird!!!!!!! But Im so excited. Im going shopping at Old Navy for new clothes. The first big clothes trip in three years and will last me for the next three years. LOL Plus Im gonna check out and Alpaca farm thats on the way there since Ive been harassing DF that Im going to fence in our yard and get some Alpacas and shave them and make my own yarn. LOL sadly the landlord was the one who put the idea in my head and now its stuck there. So whenever I magically win a gerbillion dollars Im going to make my own person petting zoo. Alpacas, a cow, a pig and a big giant barn turned into a kitty house...and a rotteweiler named Muffin.

Muffin! Can I come live with you when this zoo happens?!?


I know exactly how you feel though, seriously. I always freak out when I leave the kids for the day let alone, overnight, etc. I'm sure they'll be fine though. Enjoy your vacation!

Your kids will be fine....honest. You should have said something, Tyler. I would have been happy to come over and feed your kids and play with them for awhile.

Have fun and try not to worry (too much!).

This was one of those things where we werent sure we were going and then the whole hurricane. Its been up in the air and then add in work jipping us this week with a four day paycheck..GRRRRRRRRR that irks me beyond belief this whole trip has turned into one giant mess. Plus 4 people were arguing over who got to take the dog. Hes a purdy spiffy puppy but hes obnoxious as all get out so I laid down the law and he is going where its going to be best for him.

Im going thru my list of what needs done for today I know tomorrow is going to be busy because we have to get the tin on the garage addition by tomorrow night and its just going to be the two of us and Ive never helped put tin up. Learn something new everyday. Im hoping that I have everything planned perfectly so that Sunday the last thing I have to do is put the bathroom stuff in baggies and pack up my car trip bag so Im not bored to death on the ride there. Im packing along my phone, computer, ipod and a book. Haha I cant crochet and ride in a car though. I get nauseous trying to crochet and count stitches while riding in a car. LOL


Ugh I know once noon hits today time is going to crrrrraaawwwwl by. I want it to go zoom zoom zoom!!!!!!!!!

Winchester...if all goes well on this trip the next time **fingers crossed I weasel a bike week trip in** You will be first on my list of who kitty sitters to get ahold of. I know my munsters would absolutely fall in love with you.

I can't come in the morning, but I could spend quite a bit of time with your kids after I get home from work. I wouldn't just feed them and leave right away. I'd love to play with them!

I get the same way when going on a trip- excited to go, but worrried about the cats.... even though I know they'll be ok with their Uncle Scott coming to feed and hang out with them.

I know it's hard to just not worry, but I hope you can relax and have a great time at the beach!!!

Im super excited like bouncing off the walls the apocolypse could be knocking at my door and Id still be giggling like a loon!!

Franklin is going to his grammys today so Im going to pack his bag today..Yes my 15lb dog has his own bag..LOL he needs his pillow for bed, his bed blankie, his couch blankie, a shirt of both mine and DFs, and ALL MILLION loofah dogs. LOL!!! Im so nervous for my baby to go to his first sleepover but I know that Gram will spoil him and do good with him but I just worry because hes my baby. LOL

Im actually more nervous about the cats than the dog because I have a feeling my curtains will be pulled down at some point while Im gone. LOL those silly critters. Im gonna be walking the neighbor thru the house today and showing her what to do for their water, when to feed the outside cats, where the treats are, where all their toys are they like to play with if they feel frisky. The biggest thing is when doing the kitty count (a must do) where all the hiding spots are so she doesnt freak if she is short one or two cats while counting. Gigi will sneak under the bed and hide in a tiny ball and sometimes I get so used to seeing Herc on the back of the couch that I miss him because he blends into the couch. LOL


*Pam- if you were watching my munsters I have a feeling they would never let you leave. LOL they would sense your love of cats and go bonkers for you.*


Im soooo flipping excited for tomorrow. This is going to be so awesome...and Im not even going to the actual beach part...LOL Im going to the outlets to go shopping for my birthday!!! Old Navy here I come!!!!

And I wont forget SS..LOL I am gonna find something for SS and something for my friend in Japan Im gonna ship a Christmas pack to.
