Litter that won't get stuck in their feet?

I am having problems with the litter getting stuck in my cats' feet and irritating them. Does anyone know of any litters that won't do this as much?
I used to only use Breeze litter boxes so I never had this problem, but I recently added a regular litter box because one of my cats was going outside the Breeze boxes. It helped the problem but now several are getting the litter (yesterday's news clumping granules type) caught in their feet and it is causing problems.
Anyone know of a good litter that works well for multiple cats and won't get stuck between their toes?

Try a fluffy shredded clumping type of litter IMO.

- World's Greatest (now available in lavender scent which might mask the stale cornflakes smell I wasn't fond of)

- Swheat Scoop Multicat

- Feline Pine (they now have a non-granule shredded kind)

- Exquisicat now makes a bunch of different ones that I saw (but haven't tried) from shredded pine, wheat, corn, and paper.

The only ones I caution against that would work are the clumping clay litters, just due to health concerns over inhaling/licking off the dust and the contribution it represents to strip mining operations and landfills.

I know your most likely not going to like my late answer but I would recommend any non-clumping litter brand. I know this first hand as that is what is in all my boxes.

I see only one draw back. It is all over my wood floors .

I use Swheat Scoop and a pine mixture, but find them very dusty and the dust sticks to my cats' paws. My friend recommended Purr and Simple made from walnut shells. I haven't tried it yet, but she says it's the most dust-free litter she's ever used, and they don't track it. The only downside is that it takes a little longer to form nice clumps.

Late but adding in - Dr. Elsey's make's a LH cat litter that I would think would be helpful? But otherwise any crystal litter I wouldn't think would stick to their feet.

I thought about crystal litter, I've used that in the past...
I was unsure about using the crystals though because one of my cats has a foot infection and I thought he may have been going outside the litterbox because the Breeze pellets were hurting his feet, and that was why I added one non-Breeze box... I thought the crystals might also be hard on his feet so I used a softer litter. He has a foot infection so it is sore/tender, and then this also makes the litter get caught more (the infection started before I added a non-Breeze box so I know it wasn't originally caused by the litter getting stuck.) Now everyone loves the non-Breeze box so I don't want to take it away again.
I'll definitely look up the other litters mentioned, and if anyone else knows a good litter please post!
