Yep, we've thought about it but can't really agree on anything as we both have very different tastes when it comes to tattoos. Maybe eventually.

Thanks! I must say it didn't hurt NEARLY as much as my last one on my back did.

That's a really cool Tat! I like Dana's too. Very spooky, and I like the black and white tones.

They are both awesome!! I've so been wanting to get another tattoo for the longest time...hmmm, maybe in the next few months(fingers crossed)

I am absolutely in love with yours...I've stared at it on FB for a long time, haha.

Dana's looks awesome!
Someday I will get my third...maybe when I turn 30

Kailie, your's is beautiful! And Dana's is really interesting--reminds me of Halloween. Really like both of them.

LOVE THEM!!!! Kailie, yours is incredible!! OMG, the eyes and the color you choose for the eyes are spectacular. That is your forearm, right??? I think that spot for tattoo's is more tolerable than other area's of the body, as getting my tattoo on my forearm was not as painful as I expected . And Dana's, very cool . I will have to show Larry, he has been considering getting one too, since I already have two now.

Yep, it's on my forearm. My arms, legs and even the back of my neck didn't hurt but all 3 on my back REALLY hurt.

I can't wait for Dana to get more. Tattooed men are super sexy IMO.

Can't wait to see pics! I think I'm done for a LITTLE while only because we have other things we need money for (tires for the car, a vacation next April, etc.) but I know I will eventually get more. I LOVE them. Even though I do get a discount thanks to my brother, they still cost us a small fortune...lol. My one before this cost me $200, as did this one and Dana's was $150, so in the past 2 weeks, my brother has made $550 from us!

I've actually got a friend working on drawing the cat from Coraline in his own style, to be used as a tat for me in the near future.

I used to have a blue eyed black cat as a child, and that cat reminded me of her the first time I watched the movie.

I think brother owes you a night-on-the-town . The heart pawprint cost me $120.00. The place I went to is one of the best around and they are very, very busy. You can't just walk in off the street and get a tattoo. They have four artists and their portfolio's are fabulous. You have to make an appt. and leave a deposit. The wait for appt.'s is about four weeks out. I guess tattoo's are becoming more and more popular these day. I see a lot of woman with them now too. Not just for men anymore

Yes, you have to make an appointment and leave a deposit at the shop Ty is at too. He just moved to a new shop, MUCH more professional, more money, more sterile, etc. They charge $120.00 an hour there, but I usually pay just a little over half that. I mean, it IS his livelihood, so I don't expect him to do it for free, but discounts are always nice. There are 3 artists there. The owner is booked up for the next 2 months, the other guy a month, so Ty gets all of the new bookings right now and he is already booked right up as well. I wish I had half his talent! His style is different from the other guys as well which is how he got in. The other 2 are more old school, hard lines, bright colors and such but Ty uses a lot of shading techniques with grey wash, so they're teaching each other, and serving ALL clientele. I dropped some stuff of to him after work today and he said he hasn't stopped all day, appointment after appointment. I know yesterday, there were more chicks in the shop getting inked than there were guys! GO CHICKS! Tats aren't as taboo anymore, although a woman at Wal-Mart today looked at me like I was going to bomb the place...

Arlyn, I can't WAIT to see it hun! Post pics!

Stunning work!!! Im in the process of having my leg finished. My artist is having a hard time visualizing the birds of paradise flowers I want The tattoo will be for my mother, teal ribbon that says strenghth through it is already there. Hoping to finish that up this month sometime.

My favorite tat is of my Fergus(ratman) who has been gone since 2008. I had it done in Dec. 2009. That was painful!!!!! He did the drawing directly from a picture of Fergie I sat 3 hours for that one and it took me a year to go back and get another tattoo after that

Kailie - your brother sounds very talented and quite busy. $120.00/hour is the going rate around here too. Am working on a "kitty" tattoo

That's Gary and I.

Doubt a tattoo is in my near future as we don't have the money for it, but I really want a kitty tattoo. The idea I had was the concept of a charm bracelet, where each "charm" is the face of one of our kitties. I have small bones though, so small wrists, and I don't know if it would work very well. The best tattoo artists around here (that we've found) are good with large art, not smaller, more delicate things. After Lauren got Wilbur's pawprint on her forearm, I was thinking of using one paw from each kitty to have the paws walk around my arm.

Very nice tattoo... I've been wanting to get one for years on my foot but everyone keeps telling me how bad that'll hurt and I chicken out. My daughter just got her 6th and it is a flower that I drew for her.

Ehh, tattoos aren't my thing, but those are nicely done.

Don't the colors fade quicker than the blue/black, though?

Absolutely beautiful!! If I had a body like that I'd get one there too! Unfortunately all of the skin in that area is damaged from my extreme weight loss. I don't have one on my foot yet either, but when I do, I'll let you know how it goes.

Callista, tattoos certainly aren't for everyone. I get that. As for the colors fading quicker, not if they're done correctly! Plus if I ever need any touch ups, I just call my brother and he fixes me right up.
