When will I ever learn to post this in the morning?
Things have been so hectic for me lately.

We are having a 3-day weekend on Sept 3-5 here in the US. The last official holiday of summer. What do you do on a 3-day weekend?

Well, I may go into work on Saturday but I am not for sure. But typically, I sleep! I will bake a cake for DH's birthday on Sunday. It is a big one! He is turning 60! Then Tues-Wed I have to work, then I am off from the 8th (our 32nd anniversary) to the 12th. We are renting a car to go see him Mom next weekend.

I try and see friends with my free time
.

Happy Birthday to your husband on his 60th birthday. Also congratulations on your 32nd anniversary.

Well, this weekend, I'll be getting the kids ready for school on the 7th. There's usually some kind of barbeque to get to, but usually just the school thing.

Congrats to your husband on 60, and to both of you for 32 years! That's wonderful!!!

A 3-day weekend usually means lots of free time for me to read, provided there are no tests to mark.

For us, a 3-day weekend is usually spent at home, working outside. This weekend, I'm going to be in the kitchen most of Saturday as I'll have produce to work on getting canned/frozen. The house could use a nice spot-cleaning, too. I'd like to make some garlic-parmesan rolls in the afternoon, but I don't know if I'll have enough time.

My in-laws and my sister and BIL are coming for a Labor Day picnic on Monday. Hopefully, if the weather holds, we'll be outside for most of the afternoon.

I wanted to hit the outlets this weekend to take advantage of some of the sales, but we're not going to be able to do so.

I always stay inside for labor day. Aside from memorial day, it is the WORST time for traffic here. My apartment is off the only road that leads you to 3 different beaches (2 lanes wide), so it'll be impossible to go anywhere. I usually go out and enjoy myself the next weekend.
