I feed my two cats off the same plate and right now they're in the process of transferring to Taste Of The Wild..so the amount I put on their plate isn't a concern of mine until I am completely run out of the old food.

Once they transfer to fully eating Taste Of The Wild I want to know how much food should I put on the plate for the 2 of them? I set the food out in the morning, they eat off of the plate all day long, then I bring the food in.

Sometimes..not all of the time..I give them a can of wet food in the evening.

I'm honestly only doing this just to get rid of the left over wet cat food I was using when I was deworming the cats. (the dewormer was easier to put in wet cat food than it was in kibble because I had to give each cat/kitten a spoon full of the food to make sure each of them got the amount of dewormer they needed.)

So once that wet food is all gone they will not be getting anymore wet food. I personally don't like to give it to them because i've noticed they get bloated from it..which is why I usually only give it to them one or two times a week.

So how much food (Taste Of The Wild) would you put on one plate for two cats?

Simple answer: one cup.

Weigh them before you switch to TOTW and then start with one cup and add more if they loose, (unless they need to) and less if they gain.

If you know the weight of your cats, follow the manufacturer's suggestion (back of the bag), and then adjust from there.

Regarding the wet, make sure it wasn't really just a particular ingredient in that one canned recipe that was given them upset. Just helps as a little hydration boost if nothing else. Buttercup had stool issues on one dry recipe, but there was nothing wrong with dry, it was just that one recipe and we switched and they were good.

Mmm, i don't know if that's a good idea. The amount on the back of the bag tends to be Way too much.

QFT.

My cats got fat fast feeding LESS than the recommended amounts listed on the bags. This is one of the chief reasons we switched to canned food.
