ZZ joins the club!

Every cat we've ever had in the house, except the elderly foster Tiger, has sooner or later fallen in the bath tub. Today, ZZ joined the club. He's been playing with a little ball in the tub, and I guess he was looking for it after I got out and the water was running out. He didn't just jump in, but rather slid down the back and into water about belly deep on him. He didn't like it, but he didn't seem to mind all that much.

Of course, this is tame compared to the time he jumped up on the toilet and kept going, right into the water.

Choripan always likes to be on the edge of the tub while we take a shower, always getting splashed. sometimes he'll get in too. But as soon as we turn off the water he jumps in & drinks the driping water, lol.

Spaz is a toilet lover.
When I moved back home for a few years, my mom put a post-it on the inside of the toilet lid;

"Close lid, cat swims"

Simon & Garfunkel LOVE the bathtub. As far as getting in the water goes, like you said - they don't love it, they don't hate it. They get out in a hurry but it doesn't deter them from hanging out at the bathtub.

Actually, I had to have maintenance on my tub today and in my request I told them the two "orange" cats might bother them while they worked, and to feel free to shut them in the bedroom for awhile! That's what bathtub fanatics they are!
