Sophie (foster Himi) got adopted on Friday & all is going great!

Tonight this little dude was found in my yard

He's skinny, dehydrated, scared, & hungry. The shelter isn't a safe place for him, so I'll be fostering him I guess - can't find anyone to take him. I have to hold him the stray holding period to see if anyone comes looking for him. I'm assuming no one will as someone pulled into the yard today & then left, I just figured they were looking at a piece or machinery we have for sale - but now I'm wondering if they weren't dropping him off.
People around town know I'm a 'cat person', & I've had several dropped off these past few years. I'll be getting him FeLV tested, treated for fleas/ticks, & a stool sample done ASAP.

As of yet he is un-named.

Oh goodness, that poor little darling...
Tons of vibes being sent his way, but I know he will absolutely thrive under your loving care.

Yay for Sophie!!! She is such a pretty girl and she sounds like a real snug bug! I'm so glad she found a forever home!

I'm glad that this new little guy found you! He looks so sad. A few weeks in your care and his health will be rebounding!

He is precious. It was actually his lucky day if he was dumped in your yard. He's going to be one lucky little fellow, that's for sure.

Serious vibes from here for that guy.
It rips my heart out that folks will "drop off" kittens like that.
Thankfully you found him.

Nat, that's great news about Sophie!!!!!!!

As to this little guy.... it's just heartbreaking. Absolutely heart breaking.

But he is adorable. And how long has it been since you had a kitten to adopt out?

for the little fella!

He is absolutely adorable. I would name him Bill.
the hair popping out of his ears reminds me of someone's old uncle named Bill.

Sounds like he hit the stray kitty lottery though.

He's so cute!!! He's lucky you have him instead of a dog or other animal.

I'm so glad to hear Sophie got a home too!! Yay! Good for her!!

It's been awhile since I've had a foster kitty, Gumby is 2 now so it's been 2 years! He's still hiding behind the trash can in the bathroom, but he does come out to see me when I sit down, purrs, & wants to be petted. I *think* I almost had him playing w/ a toy last night.

He does have a wound in his back leg, got it before he showed up here as it is a bit on the infected side. He's on oral antibiotics & antibiotic ointment in the wound for 7 - 14 days, depending on how it's coming along. Medicating him twice a day won't help him socialize, but what must be done must be done!

Oh my...he's adorable!
He'll be a real heartbreaker when he's fully grown.

Such good news for Sophie! After everything, I'm glad she found her forever home.
