Hi all, I asked the other day about my 5 week old kitten and what to do about litter training and his eating.
Just wanted to say a huge thank you to those who replied and offered help
He has used the litter tray 3 times without prompting today
I'm quite proud of him lol. He's also pooping daily now which is a plus. I ended up changing the litter we were using from the wood based to a clay based. (just a little tip there for anyone else having trouble) I also brought out our old hooded tray that my old cat used to use, so it probably still has that slight wiff of cat about it. He seems very happy with it
We also have advances in the food department. He is now eating cat meat, I pretty much had to force feed him a little bit till he realised it was actually food lol, but he can't get enough now
I'm still giving him a little milk a day, but only early morning and last thing at night. He's got the Vets tomorrow so here's hoping he gets a clean bill of health
