kitten with turned in eye

I've got a stray mother cat and kittens staying with me at the moment. Noticed that one of the kittens has a turned in eye. I was wondering what that means for her vision - she is much much quieter and shy than the other kittens, and maybe the explanation is because she's seeing double? I'm concerned because she's the one kitten I have a home lined up for (unfortunately they went on looks not personality...), but if this is going to be a serious problem I'm going to have to warn them.
Anyone had a kitten like this? The eye is slightly watery as well (all the kittens had catflu when I got them). Vet isn't an option right now.

All my photos come out with a different colour flash in that eye, so I took a close look at her and the eye is definitely turned in.

Cats eyes reflect the light, so because that eye is at a slightly different angle, it catches the light differently.

I'm glad to hear you've got a potential adopter lined up for her!

As these are rescue kitties and you haven't been able to vet them, just make sure the adopter knows they'll need to go to the vet for some medical attention. They'll need treatment for fleas and parasites (easy, a topical is available), and treatment for upper respiratory is almost always needed. Hopefully they'll be understanding of that.

As it appears from the photo, the turned in eye is most likely not a problem. There are some cat breeds where cross-eyes are quite common. It doesn't normally affect their behavior.

Of course... a vet check by their adoptive family is important, and online advice can't replace that of a veterinarian. But crossed-eyes are often just a genetic thing and not a medical problem.

thankyou, I was worried it was a serious defect - because she's so timid. I meant another vet visit wasn't possible. Had the kittens treated with antibiotics for the catflu and wormed. Now if I could just get homes for her troublesome brother and sister

My little rescue, Barney Fife has a turned in eye.

It does not affect him, and I am not concerned about it.

The vet didn't make much of it either.

What sweet kitties!!!

We had a very obviously cross-eyed Siamese for two decades, and he never seemed to experience vision problems, so I wouldn't worry about that, provided the cat flu clears up.
