I woke up this morning to find a cat staring at me.....and a frog on my pillow - a dead frog!

I disposed of the frog......

Why did Oscar bring this frog in and why put it on my pillow?

Thanks

It's a gift, as gross as it is you should be honored. It means that he loves you.

He also wants you to see what a mighty hunter he is! You shouldn't scold him for doing what comes naturally, praise him for being so brave and fierce, then dispose of the "gift".

Fortunately, since my kitties are indoor only, the only "gifts" I get are things from around the house. Phoenix is big on collecting all the catnip pillows in the house and bringing them to me one at a time. Some days I end up with a pile of six or seven!

Trade you a dead frog for three wolf spiders! LOL

Just don't pet the cat, make a big deal or any unnecessary noise and just dispose of the wonderful treasure quietly.

LMAO!! This is one of the funniest posts I've read lately

That is just so cute.. as gross as it probly was. The only gifts I get are Zoey's toys being dragged into the bedroom at night.. and I dont even think she's trying to give them to me
She does dispose of any spiders or flys in the house though

LOL I know the feeling, one of my little dears did this to me one night with a mouse, YUK. But he was so proud of himself hard to be mad at him, even with a dead mouse on my pillow.
