Sorry about the delay again... I was at work and suddenly thought about the QOTD.

What sort of books do you enjoy? Who is your favorite novelist?

I really enjoy the "Little House" series of books by Laura Ingalls Wilder. I also enjoy the Christian romance novels by Janette Oke. She is probably one of my favorite authors. I have also read the "Left Behind" series a few times.

I read all kinds of things, ranging from adventure to sci-fi with a good smattering of non-fiction thrown in. Favourite author changes with what I feel like reading but a short list would be Jean Auel, JK Rowling, Robert Lynn Asprin, Piers Anthony, Dick Francis although I do read many other authors.

I really don't read much, I have a terrible attention span or ability to focus on things without everything in the world distracting me. However, I do enjoy the Harry Potter series. I also read True Crime books about serial killers and things like that. I also enjoy trivia books or Uncle Johns Bathroom Readers

I mostly read romantic thrillers and paranormal romance. I love crime novels and supernatural stuff, the romance in it is always a nice break to lighten things up ...I wish there were more balanced novels out there and less of the kind that are just mushy romances with the thriller/suspense plot so far in the background that it makes you laugh, cuz I can't stand those!

I'll ready pretty much read anything I can get my hands on.

I'm a big Stephen King fan, although some of the endings of his books can make me cringe....I've invested all that time in a book and have a crappy ending? Grrr Cell is a good example of what I thought was a crappy ending. And the whole Gunslinger series....I was really frustrated at the ending for that one.

Love Clive Cussler, too, esp the Dirk Pitt series, but I also like the Oregon Files.

Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake series (Vampire Executioner)
Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series (Go Ranger!)

Since I've become such a Bones fan, I've started reading through Kathy Reich's series.

Anne McCaffrey's (and Todd McCaffrey's now) Pern series....I got hooked on them years and years ago when my DS was reading them.

Lately I've been reading the Temperance Brennan series by Kathy Reichs (since I love the show Bones). I also enjoy legal thrillers, stuff by Stephen King & Dean Koontz, John Grisham, James Patterson, etc.

I also enjoy true crime books and Mafia history.
