Introducing/transitioning wet food brands

I've read in several threads that it is easier to introduce new wet food brands. I learned my lesson with dry food and want to avoid making the mistake of going too fast.

How many feedings would you say should it take to transition to a new wet food in order to increase the varieties my kitties get?

100% change over the course of 5 seconds to be on the safe side.

You don't need to transition wet. We've always fed random wet food and never had an issue.

What Ducman said. Canned food is much easier on a cat's digestive system and doesn't cause the problems kibble does. Prior to going raw, my cats were eating a rotation of 21 different flavors; they never ate any one type of canned food more than once a week!

(Rotating canned products helps keep a cat from becoming fixated on any one particular product [bad if they change or discontinue that product] and dilutes any potential quality control issues that might crop up.)

Just plunge right in, MiLu!

Oh really? When I read 'easier' I never thought it would be *that* easy

Thank you!
