Well, kind of...

I recently got new sneakers which came with 2 sets of shoelaces- white and green. I like the green ones, the girls like the white ones. So I bring them out sometimes and let the cats chase and chew on them. They were both going at the ends for a little while, it was hard to get an action shot though, because it was that cautious playing- play-stare at other cat-play-stare at other cat-play-etc.
In this shot, Genever is in 'stare at other cat' mode, and Dorothy is in 'play' mode. At least they weren't fighting...

Do they fight much? When I was here before, you had just gotten Dorothy and I remember them sleeping close right off. Rex and Chloe play fight all the time, but they are always just playing. They love each other in spite of themselves. Rex and Chloe have really taken to Juno too. Blue...not so much. LOL But Juno doesn't let that stop her...she just rubs right up against him anyway. She is determined that everyone WILL love her! ROFL

Awwww, it's a good start! Give them time and they'll do well together. I didn't think they fought all that much.

Well, I guess they don't FIGHT fight all that much, but most of their interaction is chasing and smacking each other, which I guess is play fighting. However, a lot of times, Genever will go after Dorothy, and Dorothy stops, turns around, HISSES and growls and gets all mad. Poor G-cat wants to play and Dot's shutting her down. So most times they seem to ignore each other I guess. They rarely sleep next to each other anymore like they did in the beginning, but they still do the face grooming thing- Genever grooms Dorothy's face, never the other way around. It lasts until Dorothy gets annoyed and either smacks G or just leaves. Even if she's the one who sticks her face in G's face. It's weird.

I hope they do.....whether they want to admit it or not, I still think bringing Dorothy in was a wonderful idea! Hopefully, they'll agree (in time).
