I just feel so sad tonight. I used to be able to log in here and know everyone and what was going on in their lives, etc...and now...since I have a baby to take care of, and after my absence because of mourning for my beloved cat Merlin, who died in May, I come here and feel so lost....I don't know so many people, can't keep up with new members like I used to, don't know what is going on in their lives, or the "older" members lives....I just feel so out of place and like when I post people are going...who the heck is that???

Sorry...just feeling sorry for myself tonight I guess. I used to have so much more time, and could keep up with things here and meet new people and get to know them. It's just frustrating. I have a full time job, plus overtime, a baby, a husband...friends here to keep up with, and my personal time is so limited.

I just hope you all (who know me) don't forget me and I hope to be able to get to know many of you who post so often and I should know.

It just feels weird when I come here and don't recognize anyone who is posting but then see they have a post count of 500+. I just feel so out of touch.
It didn't used to be that way.

Debby, don't worry, we won't forget you! How could we, you are always so kind to everyone. I haven't been able to be on as much lately either, and I feel a little out of it at times. Don't try to be superwoman.
We are happy to have you back, and you'll get to know the newer members in time.

Who are you again? Jog my memory?

If it makes you feel any better Debby I just came back after a month and a half break from the boards. In that little time, there are a huge amount of posts and people I can't keep up. Look at Sicycat (2400+) posts in two months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to point that out! I can't keep up, but I use TCS as "a coffee break" ...not as a means of keeping up.

Things will always change and you have to go with the flow....Some people don't even know who Nakita is!!! The shock and horror of it all!

Well Debby, the way I see it this site is kind of like a Soap Opera in many ways! You can not watch for months and sometimes years but when you go back you can pick up on what's going on fairly quickly!
Don't worry.... you'll get to know all of us sooner then you may want to!

Thank you! I was just feeling sorry for myself...I hope it didn't seem like I was wanting people to say nice things about me or how much they missed me or anything like that. I was just saying how I felt. I just hate it that I can't be here more often like I used to before I had Amber....it is like having two full time jobs...
I miss being able to keep up with everyone and get to know new people here.

Hey Debby

Don't feel bad about not knowing all the new people or not knowing what's going on in everyone's lives. I'm here more than I probably should be and I can't keep up!

I'm sure in a bit of time you'll be right back where you were... knowing almost everyone and everything that's going on. It's going to take more than a couple days though. When I was gone for 17 days last summer I came back and had to read the boards nonstop for 3 weeks before I hit the first page in the Lounge. And to think, I joined here because the board I was originally at didn't have much traffic at all.
Boy, did I get what I wished for!

Right here! :)
Debby!
How could we possibly forget you??? It is simply not possible!

I am alway happy to see you around.
I have not been much on untill just very recently, so I know what you mean about beeing lost. There are so many posts to read to keep up. I feel like I´m in traffic standing on the sidewalk, everyone is driving past me and don´t notice me there on the side.
I also have a small child, and boy, does that take time and energy!

If I remember correctly you have a little girl called Amber (or did I get confused?) How old is she? My son is now 14,5 months and quite a handful, but luckily healthy and always happy and patient.

See, there ya go...when I said, "I need a fix" most people would have known I meant a NAKITA fix....but after thinking about it I decided I better explain myself!!!
We used to say "We need a Nakita fix", because we wanted to see more pics of her!!!!
(in case anyone didn't know and was worried.

LOL We have all been going through Nakita withdrawal lately, Debby. Kass has been away for a while, too.

That being said, we want more Nakita pictures!

Debby, please don't feel bad that you're time is limited. It's not that "we're" not important, but family & personal things are a priority and we ALL understand that. I'm sure we've all been in your shoes a time or two, so we all can relate to that feeling.

It has been a pure pleasure seeing you back on the boards...you bring so much personality to this place. I know I can always read one of your posts for a guaranteed smile and laugh.

Honestly, I don't know how you do it Girl! You've got a husband, baby, stepkids, animals to take care of...plus you work a fulltime job, have many things around the house to do...but yet you still manage to spend your free time with us. Dang Debby...don't you ever get tired!

Cheer up Hon! We all love you for who you are...not how by much time you spend here. Love ya Sis!
