Well, the rest of Spike's cat tree finally came in yesterday, so I was able to get some photos of him playing on it.
He seems to be really enjoying it as he wouldn't come down from it for about 8 hours last night.
At least it's not another unused cat toy!

Doing the "rabbit kick" against one of the platforms

Uhm... I'm not really sure WHAT Spike was doing here...

And a closeup of that tongue!

Spike looks very comfy in the top picture and he looks like such a nice cat.

PurrfectCatlove, I did get it from ebay. I have the medium-grey one.
I noticed today that the seller has blue available now too.
It's nice that there's a choice of colors... I tried to match mine to the color of Spike's fur.

I'm going to go out on a limb and verify that he just HAD to be comfy. Spike stayed up in the tallest bed most of yesterday evening... and it's a full foot taller than I am, so there was no chance in moving him.

And he is a nice cat... he's just a bit skittish.
And god forbid you annoy him while he's ON either of his cat trees. He's mighty protective of HIS turf.

Isn't my nephew cute?
The ecollar thing is so sad... but so funny at the same time.

Thanks mzjass2u.
Not that I had anything to do with his eyes being like that
I love them too... they're so big and round... and he usually has this crazy look about him with those big eyes staring something down.

Were the cat trees hard to assemble? They look great!
The first one I did was the hardest. The directions are good, but they can definitely be a bit more specific. (I am detail-oriented.) They are mostly together when they arrive too. Just the tall poles and beds have to be attached. My cordless drill that has screwdriver attachments was a HUGE help. By the time I put together the third tree, I think I'd consider myself a professional cat tree assembler.

Well, you know... it just lets me put off vacuuming for longer periods of time.
