SOOOO happy!I had a family come today to meet my fosters, there was a middle aged couple, their daughter & her baby son. The daughter was the one originally wanting to adopt and she decided to adopt tuxedo brothers, Ying & Yang! That made me happy enough, knowing they would be adopted together, as they really are the best of friends.
Then her parents decided that THEY wanted to adopt Murphy! He was absolutely in LOVE with the man, cuddling and purring away in his arms.
I was on cloud 9, 3 adoptions, all older black and white male kittens, not as adoptable usually, right?So we go into the shelter to complete the adoption and while we were there, a young couple comes in looking for kittens. All of the shelter's kittens are currently in foster care, and one of the employees pointed us out, saying we were foster parents and had kittens. We offered to have the couple follow us home so they could meet the boys which they jumped at. They came here and fell madly in love with orange boy, Diablo (now named Pete!) so he got to be adopted today as well!!
This day couldn't possibly have gone any better!Of course we brought home 2 new foster kittens who were getting sneezy and needing some TLC.
Black 8 week old brothers we named Cole & Jones.
