On Saturday August 21, 2010 Luna's previous owners got rid of her by throwing her out of their pick up truck on the highway 
My mother and I saw it happen, and we rescued her. Luckily she wasn't badly injured. She was covered in dirt and fleas. Didn't even know she was white until we gave her a bath. 
The next day the vet checked her over said she was ok, gave her medicine that would kill the fleas. She told us Luna was 12 weeks old, 2lbs 7oz. Before we left I gave her the name Luna 
The name my mother chose for her.
Sunday August 21, 2011 Luna's 1st Gotcha day!
Can't believe Luna's been here a year already! She's now 1 year and 3 months old, 8.25lbs, flea free, with the most beautiful fur coat I've ever seen (I'm her mother I'm entitled to brag 
). She still has a lot of issues thanks to her previous owners but she's a very happy cat with a mother, grandparents, and a bigger little brother who all love her very much
