I sure will. Maybe that will make them come inside tonight! I have stood outside calling for them for almost 20 minutes and they are just romping through the yard. Grrr! I like to shut them in the garage at night. Too many predators here for them to be out and about. Rotten kitties!

My Momma cat and Shadow used to ignore me when I called them in at night in the summer, when they where younger. But Momma cat is 11 plus years old (11 for sure) and Shadow is six years old so now they respond when I call them in at night in the summer.

You are lucky you can see your cats when they ignore you. My cats have gosh knows how much woods they could hide from me if they chose to do so.

Also do your Momma and Percy like to come in when it is cold (if it gets cold by you) and or wet? My Momma cat and Shadow do not like to be out in cold or wet weather. They only like to be outside in good weather. Spoiled much ?

I just adopted them this summer, so I am not sure...but I bet they won't like the cold. They definitely don't like the wet...but we have a huge barn they can get in. That is where they are right now. Normally they come when I call them - especially after this long. During they day, Momma always comes when called. She is just being a little turkey tonight. Oh well. I left the garage door cracked for them. They can crawl under whenever they decide to come in. I just like to know they are there and safe (and shut the door!) before i go to bed. This is going to be a long night!!

Glad they finally came... growing up, we lived in rural Tennessee, and we always had to lock the animals in the garage at night just in case... and sadly, that didn't always stop the wilderness from taking our babies.

And you were so right -- Percy and Harvey look SO much alike!
