I just shared some of these on the New Cats on the block, but I have so many pictures, I just had to share some more!

And now... in chronological order...

Crumb is chosen!

1st Halloween as a family! Charlie Brown, Lucy, and the Great Crumbkin.

Crumb does not understand why his friend Butter will only walk backwards when wearing a sweater. (Sorry, Butter.)

Bookworm.

Crumb watches his favorite movie, "Mewvies for Cats."

Luck o'the Crumb to you!

It's the Easter Crumby!

Happy Crumbdependence Day!

You got me a KITTEN? No way! (And this is after less than 24 hours!)

First roadtrip as a family of 4.

Crumb loves Daddy.

A little sphinx.

"Sorry, girls, we only date models."

The only way to travel.

I love you, brodder.

Hahahaha! Sorry about that... didn't mean to leave Harvey's name out! We DO call him "The Kitten" or "smalls" a lot. Crumb is after the illustrator R. Crumb, and Harvey is after his friend Harvey Pekar, the writer of "American Splendor."

Also, been sending lots of positive vibes for Lazlo. Any Jersey kitty is a friend of ours. All my boys, including the DB, are Jersey boys. Crumb came from Common Sense for Animals in Broadway, NJ, and Harvey is from Highland Lakes!

Aw thanks! Ridgewood is ... in Flushing? I lived in Astoria (before you were born? ) when I moved back to NY when I started my career, 2 years after college. So that'd be... from 1987 to 1994, when DH and I then hit the road full time in the RV for the next 10 years.

How'd your boys end up coming to you from NJ? I guess I should go read your intro!

OMG they are so cute! Luna and Midnight are very glad to know they aren't the only cats forced to dress up for the holidays

Ridgewood is near what is considered Flushing now... bordered by Bushwick, Maspeth, and Middle Village. We love it here... very residential, low rent (for NYC), and still on the M train line. And boo -- not before I was born! How old I was, however...

The DB's family lives in Washington (Warren County). We had a very bad experience with the NYCACC where we wanted to adopt a certain kitten for a week from their website, only for them to finally say it had been misaged, and we could not adopt it because weren't a rescue group. Then the lady said it would likely be put down since it was 'kitten season', and it had been there too long and likely had contracted 'some sort of disease anyway.' So while visiting his parents the next weekend, we visited CSA and found our Crumbbunny! With Harvey, we were open to any location, but we wanted a highly socialized kitten. We got permission from our landlord for a 2nd cat that morning, found his ad on Craigslist that afternoon, and had him home that night! It was serendipity!

Crumb gets an outfit for almost every major holiday... I've started Harvey out with 4 matching shirts so far, but no ensembles. I just can't figure out how I could possibly dress them up for Labor Day...

Same with mine, they dress up for every holiday even their birthdays whether they want to or not My mother suggested a hard hat for Labor Day for mine, so I guess you could do that for yours

OH my goodness, between you and MY4LLMA - I am going to have to start dressing up some cats I really think Wendall and Walden (my new boys) might be willing participants . Pipsqueak too, although he will just be a frozen statue in any clothes. Thanks for sharing . Just adorable and I love the cat names :bightumb:

Start them young and they just sort of accept the clothes... Crumb has always liked t-shirts, and tolerated anything else. I think he feels more at home in a shirt than without one! If I forget to take it off, he'll wear it all day.
