Those of you reading my hospital thread know I just spent another 3 days in the hospital with an infection. I want to share what my kitties did Monday when I was feeling my worst.

My two fuzzybutts tolerate each other. They don't snuggle but do get along and occasionally play with each other. (Is ambushing, playing?
)

But on Monday they were quiet and took turns laying beside me. This was a surprise as Topaz like to monopolize my time when I am in bed and has "stared down" Ari to get him to move.

I love my babies.

Awwww. I truly believe that animals know better than us, when something isn't right. They are such good "Nurses".

That is so sweet! I always say that animals are much smarter than what we humans give them credit for.

Get better soon

I'm adding my "Awwwww"s to this wonderful thread! How sweet to come home to kitties, isn't it? They're a comfort and definitely good nurses!!

Continue recovering, Jan!!!

Isn't it wonderful to have kitties around when you're sick?!!

They are so intuitive and compassionate. They pick up on things and provide such comfort. I'd much rather be surrounded by kitties when I'm sick than people, which is why I'm a terrible patient when in the hospital. When I'm sick I just want to be left alone to curl up and sleep. And kitties are more than happy to do the same

How're you doing now, Jan? Hope you're feeling better every day.

My kitties went all nursey on me today! I did some work out in the ungodly heat and came inside too tired to shower, but too dirty to sit down -- so I just flopped on the floor to recover for a few minutes. In a minute or two, both Clyde and Pearl came nosing around and mewing inquisitively, bless their hearts! They snuggled up on either side of me, and then St. John came over and licked my toes and fingers.

We're so lucky to have our kitties.

Feeling better, thank you.
Into the next week and still out of the hospital.

Aww, glad to hear your nurses are on duty, too.
