Wew got an unexpected surprise in the mail yesterday- pics and a short letter from Prada, who is BF's aunt and uncle's cat in Chichester in the south of England!

Actually, I guess Prada would be OUR cousin, and some sort of cousin removed to our cats.. I get confused with all that cousin business.
BF was so surprised, because his mom and aunt are very close and if his mom knew they were sending this, she'd have a hard time not telling him.
It was just too cute, and she is a beauty, very unique- like half silver half brown tabby? I scanned the photos to share:

Oh wow...what a uniquely marked cat! Beautiful!

Rex is a brown tabby. I think the stripes have to be brownish for a brown tabby because Rex is predominately black. His tabby spots are brown. That cat looks to have lots of white in the tabby spots. Really cool! I hope someone knows what the mix is.

Wow
. Isn't Prada just a beauty and a half?!

Genever and Dot's English cousin is absolutely stunning. I'd have no idea what coloring she would be technically, but she is gorgeous. What a lovely cousin to have across the pond. And, I'm sure both of your girls would get along famously with Prada.

How nice of your boyfriend's aunt and uncle to send a photo and letter from Prada. Did you show her pics to your two girls? I wonder what they think of their overseas family member? At any rate, Prada is lovely. Thank you for sharing her with us.

Thanks for the compliments, she really is pretty, and I just love her unique coloring, never saw anything like her before!

I've never met them, since they live in the south and BF's parents and brother & fam live in the north near Leeds. I have heard of Prada though from BF's mom, and so I'm sure she's told her sister about Dot and Genever, maybe even emailed photos that we've sent.

They will be sending a letter back with some photos soon, of course!

She's very pretty!! Holland only has one feline cousin, my brother and SIL's cat Gracey. Gracey is a grumpy senior buff colored kitty... sound like anyone you know?

Hey... if you're thinking of Dorothy, I've got to correct you there- she just LOOKS grumpy.
She acts super sweet. Usually.

Oh, and she's not a senior yet either, she's "mature"... LOL
