Today, Diane Rehm on her NPR show had a guest who has written a book about adopting adult dogs from an animal shelter. She gives great advice and clearly loves and understands dogs. She is encouraging people to buy copies of the book for their local shelter.
I've always been afraid of adopting a dog; I figure I know just enough about dogs to ensure that I would have a terrible one. I guess I need this book!
