My teen daughter has this cat it's female and well I like the cat but don't overly love it the way my daughters do. I feed it when it needs food and give it water and I am never mean to the cat. The cat tends to know that I'm not all into cats and so it avoids me meaning like it won't sleep in my bed or be in my room or rub up against my legs like it does with my daughters but recently within the last few weeks the cat has become strange when I come out of a room and she sees me she'll cry and run up to me and try to climb everything to get me to touch her she doesn't do it all the time mostly at night why the sudden change can she tell if something is wrong cuz I read that cats can if someone is sick or has she just decieded that she likes me and I'm just going to have to put with it thanks.

I found the text in this book spot on, but the illustrations aren't helpful at all. Good over all book

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

Cats usually enjoy being ignored and consider it polite, heh. Or it might be something on your clothes even.
Took me a little bit to figure out why my cats were making it hard for me to walk, until I realized the new shorts I got a while back had these little tassel things hanging off them that would jingle around when I walked and they wanted it!

Hi and welcome to the Forums!
Yes, I think the cat is turning now, and discowered you too are a nice person, giving it food and everything.
Cats are often more active at nights, them being essentially night animals. So you often do see the turning points firstly at nights.
And yes, some cats like to climb up to their favorite person.
Try to help her by petting her on the floor (or she perhaps prefer to be petted on a sofa or a chair - some do)
Is she also climbing up on your daughter?
Good luck!
