I do!
Mr. Underfoot & Felixia got used to them right away, but Sylvestra pulled hers off the first several times I used them. I just kept trying, and now she's finally gotten used to them, though hers still come off sooner than the others' do.

Mr's are blue, Felixia's are pink, and Sylvestra's are purple.

You need to get your cats used to having their paws handled, and if they wear SoftPaws they need to stay strictly indoors, because it disables their claws.

I tried them on my orange tabby Gus, but chewed them all off witin 1 hour after putting them on. Clipping seems to work better for me.

I dont really have a huge problem with Zoey scratching.. she always uses her tree and never uses claws on me. I dont think she'd like those things on her claws.

Plus, what do you do for poly cats? Extra nails!

You'd go through a package quick! How many toes does she have, by the way?

I can't help but think your demon kitty would look good with red claws, but I wouldn't want to be the one to try putting them on her!

Honestly, I use them because my cats are total instruments of destruction when it comes to furniture and nothing else has worked. The cute colors are just a bonus.

She has like... *thinks* 5 and 1/2 toes on the front.. but 6 nails
(the half toe is like half the size of a regular toe.. very strange)

4 in the back.. but one back paw has a small extra toe and nail on the side.. sooo..
I'd need like 21 soft paws each time

Red would look good on her.. hehee..

I always thought dewclaws were a dog thing.

From your pic it looks to me like she has a normal paw with an extra "thumb" on the outside. (The better to shred you with, my dear!
)

All of my cats have ordinary paws with 4 little toes & a "thumb" where Zoey's little tiny pad is in b/w the main paw & the big thumb. On their back feet they only have 4 toes, no dewclaws.

Also, I only put the SoftPaws on the front feet - no need to bother with the back ones; they don't shred the couch with those.

So far out in left field I got lost
I bought some for the Sammycat before we got Oscar. Have you ever tried to put them on a 18lb totally pissed off cat with an attitude?? Let me tell you it is no easy task
But when I finally got them on him it worked great and they look good too

I used them on Midnight and Sunshine back when they were the only two cats here. I would still use them, but with 15 cats, it would be a waaay too expensive undertaking.

They worked real well, and stayed on for about 5-6 weeks.

Yes, they come in a package of 40 nail caps & are glued on. It's a cold-bonding glue - if you run out you can order more glue from them - the vet told me not to use superglue because it heats up as it bonds & can hurt the cats.

Application info can be found at www.softpaws.com

I wish they had more colors. I would love to color coordinate their nails for the various holidays: orange for Halloween, red and green for Xmas, etc.

I have never used them. I might be able to get them on Beau's claws but Felicia doesn't like her claws to be handled.

I tried them on 5 of the cats as a test program. On three of the cats they did not last!! I kept finding them, one at a time, and was constantly replacing one or two a day. One of the other two cats kept them on for a good amount of time. But the real reason I stopped using them is because the fifth cat kept getting his claws caught in things. See, as the nail grows, the cap is pushed away from the cuticle and a ridge is formed. Now the cap is still firmly attached, and I had to rescue this cat twice from having a nail trapped by a strong thread hooked on this ridge. (one time it was on the scratching post's carpet and one time was on the mattress....and you know that neither one of those strings would have broken by themselves) If I was not there to intervene I fear a toe might have been damaged.
