I walked into the bedroom this morning while I was getting ready for work and this is what I saw.....
Yesterday, Mollipop was in the catnapper and Tabby jumped in beside her. It did not go well. There was a lot of paw smacking going on and neither one would budge. Last night, Tabby was in the catnapper and Molli jumped in. Tabby smacked her and Molli gave up...she came over and hopped into bed with me.
Evidently, they are working things out on their own. I tried to get Tabs to turn around to face the camera, but she was more interested in what was going on outside.
BTW, we had Tabby to the vet last night...she now weighs 4.5 pounds! She has gained 3 pounds since she came to live with us on July 3rd. The ear mites are gone, but she still has a bit of the ear infection, so we are to continue with the cleaning and the Panalog ointment. Her right ear drum is definitely OK and she can definitely hear out of her right ear. But she will probably have that head tilt the rest of her life; her vet says that, to Tabby, that tilt may now be normal. Although she really only does it now when she's very tired and or very excited.
We start her on her kitten shots next Thursday night at her next vet visit. We couldn't before b/c of her ear problems and because she was not at a good weight.
Overall, the vet is very pleased with her progress. We try with her, we really do. We're doing everything we can to make her healthy. And she is healthy....except for that niggling ear thing going on.
And Mollipop. She is my baby.
I would do anything for that little girl. Just looking at her makes me smile.
