So im new here, hi^^. I didn't know where to post this so here goes..After my poor Charlie died a month ago and after volunteering at the local shelter for a few weeks I decided to adopt a new cat. She is white with one blue and one brown eye. Its been a week and I cannot for the life of me find the perfect name for her. I kind of like molly but its not the best fit. she is really sweet (4 months old.) and very playful. She likes to bolt from room to room making playful kitten noises and jumping on things...oh and is fascinated with any and all water sources. Any name suggestions for my little girl?

She's beautiful! I love her eyes
And she sounds like a doll!

Here are my suggestions:

poupÃ[emoji]169[/emoji]e (pronounced "poo pay") It means "Doll" in French.

Blue (named for her1 blue eye)

Gem (named for her gemstone eyes)

of course, my Abby and Katie wouldn't mind if you named her after them

If she loves water so much, you could go with a water name such as:

Mesi - Egyptian for Water
Nixie - German for Little water sprite
Marina - Latin for Of the sea
Kai - Hawaiian for The sea

Or some of the simple ones like Brooke, Lily, Misty.

First off - Welcome to TCS!!!

Oh my holy smokes.....I think I'm in LOVE!
If she goes missing, I didn't steal her, I swear!

I'm not much help in the name department, I have two all white kitties who are Twitch & Ophelia Rose (both white with two blue eyes & deaf). I didn't like the "generic" white cat names like Snowball, Snowy, Whitey, etc. I do have a black/white bi-color named Molly, I like that name.
Her nickname is "Molly Dolly" as she's such a sweetheart.

BTW - We have a sub-forum just for posting pictures, located here in Fur Pics. I myself wouldn't mind seeing lots more pics of "Ms Nameless".

I'm so sorry you lost Charlie... but so glad you made room in your heart for this beautiful little girl! I think Molly is a lovely name, but if you're not sure... maybe you'd like to name her Charlotte, to honor Charlie. Or Sapphire Topaz, for her eyes... or Siren for her love of water...

Happy you found TCS! Welcome!

Welcome to TCS!

And what a sweet little girl you have ! She's so pretty.

We have a Molly, too! Well, her name is really Mollipop and we call her Molli for short.

I really like the names that others have suggested here. I rather like Marina.

Or you could just wait a little while, too....a lot of times, your kitty will actually tell you what her name is. That has happened to us more than a few times.

Sea Breeze comes to mind, lol. She sounds like a beautiful cat! Is she deaf in one of her ears?
