Here's one reason why I foster. When I brought Boo, a feral kitten trapped with his littermates, home a week and half ago, he was still at the point of hissing, spitting and cringing at human contact. Took this pic this afternoon. We still have a ways to go with Boo, but he allows me to cuddle him now, pet him with no problem and is starting to get used to being picked up and held.
