Ruining my carpet

What do I do? One of my 2 new kittins are destoring my carpet, in this one spot. I have sprayed citrus scented air freshner on it and nothing has happened. Help!!!!

Is this a pee issue or a scratching issue? If its the later, you may want to try Soft Paws, they are nail caps for cats.

One of our six cats likes to scratch on a horizontal surface vs. vertical, so he wears Soft Paws.

I would guess this is a pee issue and the first thing would be to take the cat to the vet to rule our a urinary tract infection. Then you would need an enzyme cleaner like Nature's Miracle to take care of the stain.

No this is a scratching issue. Sorry I didn't think about the pee issue. soft paws, shoes I guess for cats?

Get a cardboard scratching pad that simply lays on the floor and place it on the spot where they scratch. You can buy these at WalMart. I'll bet that it works.
