The Raging Blizzard

As Luna grew up, she began to get a thicker amount of fur around her neck. When Luna is stalking something, that neck fur fluffs up. Also her eyes get huge, and greener. Which is I imagine a very scary sight to whatever she's stalking Since her neck fur is all white, when she's fluffed like this I call her The Raging Blizzard

I got this picture to show her neck fur fluffed. Something caught her attention at the window. She started fluffing. I grabbed the camera and took this pic, right before she shot at the window. I haven't been able to get a pic of her fluffed looking right at the camera, because when she's stalking something, she doesn't get distracted (especially by me) So here's the side view of her fluffed:

I never saw neck fur like that before either. That extra neck fur didn't grow in until Luna was 5 or 6 months old.

That ruff around Luna's neck is amazing! I've never seen anything like it; what a pretty, pretty girl she is!

An excellent hunter as well. Should have seen her hunting and stalking a mouse last week all fluffed up!

I would to! She's so soft only she's more of a look but don't touch kitty

I needed another "blizzard" fix this morning . She is just too adorable. She looks like she would be a great pillow!!!!

I got to see her in full Raging Blizzard mode tonight. Another mouse got in, Midnight had it, lost it in the living room. He got bored and walked away. So I grabbed Luna, carried her to the living room and put her down. Right away she picked up the scent and began hunting/stalking. Took less than a second for her to turn into The Raging Blizzard. Like the mouse last week, Luna did all the work, and Midnight's the 1 who got it in the end

She looks so pretty. >< Never seen that on a cat before.

Oh my goodness, that girl is just gorgeous! Love that neck fur!

We HAVE to learn to have the camera ready at all times with our cats. You have to get a full body picture of the "raging blizzard" up. Just this morning, Pipsqueak tore through the house full speed and ALL his hair was standing on end . He looked hysterical, like a "Cat Hulk", I ran for the camera, but by the time I ran back his hair was flattening down. Would have made a real funny photo

Luna's neck fur is really an awesome sight

A front picture of her fluffed like that would be awesome. With the way things are going with mice, chances are I'll be able to get a few pictures of her all fluffed from the front. When/if I do, I'll post them
